Privacy Policy
Last updated May 31, 2026
Pod House (“we”, “us”) is an independent iOS app published by Pipedream Ventures. This policy explains what data the app and this website touch, and why. We collect as little as possible.
What the app accesses
Pod House connects to your Spotify account using Spotify’s official, permission-based login (OAuth). With your consent, it reads the podcast data needed to organize your library — your followed shows, saved episodes, and playback position. We request the minimum scopes required and never ask for your Spotify password.
- Spotify library data — shows, episodes, and saved items, used to display and organize your podcasts.
- Playback position — so you can pick up where you left off.
- Account email — used only to identify your session.
What we store
Wherever possible, your library and listening data stay on your device. Pod House does not sell your data, does not show third-party ads, and does not build advertising profiles. We do not access your music listening, payment information, or social graph.
The waitlist
If you join the early-access waitlist on this site, we store the email address you submit so we can notify you when Pod House opens up. That’s the only thing we store, and we’ll never share or sell it. You can ask us to remove it at any time — see Contact below.
Spotify
Pod House uses the Spotify Platform but is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Spotify. Your use of Spotify is governed by Spotify’s own terms and privacy policy. You can revoke Pod House’s access at any time from your Spotify account’s “Apps” page.
Children
Pod House is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
